Edna Earl Lannom

Funeral services for Mrs. Lannom will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Adams Avenue Church of Christ. Brother Michael Wyatt and Adams Avenue Church of Christ elders will be officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel and Monday from 10 a.m. until the service at Adams Avenue Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Carl Crawford, Richard Newberry, Dallas Mathis, & Glenn Hollis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders and deacons of Adams Avenue Church of Christ. 

Mrs. Lannom, age 89, passed away March 9, 2017. 

Edna is survived by her son, Mark (Debbie) Lannom; grandson, Ethan Lannom; and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe; son, Earl Douglas, eight sisters; and three brothers.

Edna was born June 8, 1927 in Jackson County to Robert and Vernie Jones Flatt. She was one of 12 children. Edna and Monroe Lannom married in 1951 and made their home in Lebanon.  They had two sons, Earl Douglas, born in 1952, and Billy Mark, born in 1960.  Monroe had two sons prior to their marriage, Raymond Lannom and Elvin Lannom. Edna was a lifelong devoted member of the Church of Christ. She retired from Precision Rubber Products Co., after which she enjoyed volunteering at

Prospect, Inc. and going to the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center. Edna loved spending time with her family. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in her beautiful flowers. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Adams Avenue Church of Christ.
