Magician Bruce Amato performed two shows Tuesday at the Lebanon Public Library as part of the library’s summer reading program.

This year’s program is called “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read” and is open to children from birth through sixth grade. Children in kindergarten thru sixth grade who read 20 books during the summer will receive a pass and armband to ride all of the rides at this year’s Wilson County Fair.

Each week, the library plays host to live entertainment for children. The next performer will be musical entertainer Kevin Kidd. He will be at the library Thursday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Other scheduled acts include the Nashville Zoo on June 14; Guardian Martial Arts on June 15; Safari Greg on June 16; Balloon Magic with Scott Tripp on June 21; the Nashville Sounds mascot June 30, Sports Village on July 6; and more.

For a complete list of shows, visit lebanonlibrary.net or call the library at 615-444-0632. All programs are free.

June 30 is the last day to sign up for the program. The children’s program will wrap July 14 with a water party from 10 a.m. until noon.
