A dessert party followed for all the guests. Usually held at a private home, just as the dinners are, this year’s second part of the event was held at the recently remodeled Arcade on the square by Hal Bone and Mike Manus, owners of the facility.
The point of the “dare” is when one sends in their money and makes reservations in support of Leadership Wilson’s fundraising program, they don’t know where they’re going for dinner or who they will be having dinner with until just days before dining. The outcome is well worth the anxiety of waiting as was attested by this year’s participants.
This year’s hosts who opened their lovely homes and furnished meals to anywhere from four to 20 guests included Sean and Rebekah Dozier, Dave and Sally Kimbrel, Jamie and Lynda Burge, Camille Burdine and Jeff Gannon, Scott and Kirsten Harris, Brody and Angel Kane, Denise Sykes and Larry Hubbard, Jim and Cathey Sweeney, Mike and Katy Moscardalli, Danny and Diane Srewart and Amber and Geoff Hurdle.
Watch for Saturday’s Living section in The Lebanon Democrat for who served what and who ate where. In addition, one might get an idea or find a dish or two they might want to try for their holiday cooking.
