Wilson Emergency Management Agency firefighters took on a fire at a Lebanon business late Monday night.
WEMA Director Joey Cooper said officials received the call at 10:11 p.m. that a passerby saw flames coming out of the front part of the building at The Pallet Co. at 1818 Sparta Pike about one mile south of Interstate 40 in Lebanon.
After arriving, Cooper said the first unit of responders reported fire on the front wall of the building.
“We made entry, and the fire was contained to the room of origin along the front wall of the facility,” Cooper said.
No one was inside the building at the time, Cooper said.
According to Cooper, preliminary reports show that the fire may have been electrical.
“There were saws lined up along that front wall, and they could have shorted out causing the fire,” Cooper said.
He said there were no reported injuries.
