Wilson County deputies chase suspect in car, on foot

A Wilson County sheriff’s deputy chased a suspect in a car on Underwood Road and then on foot in the woods around the 800 block of Fellowship Road.

The deputy saw a grey 1992 Mazda driving fast and nearly cause a wreck while traveling south on Underwood Road.

When the deputy tried to pull the car over, the suspect drove away to Fellowship Road where he got out and ran into the nearby woods. Deputies were unable to find the suspect.

According to Lt. Scott Moore, deputies searched the area for a white man with dark hair, who was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt.
