The car show will take place at Veteran’s Memorial Park at 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive in La Vergne.
Dubfest is Middle Tennessee’s only all-Volkswagen car show and swap meet. The event will be free and open to spectators.
“We’re excited to once again host this event in La Vergne,” said Daniel Edwards of the Wolfsburg Alliance committee. “It’s a great opportunity to bring the middle Tennessee Volkswagen community together.”
The event will feature 16 show classes, such as Beetle early to 1957, Beetle mid from 1958-67, Beetle late from 1968-77, super Beetle, transporter, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, Thing, off-road, Volksrod, hood ride, New Beetle, water-cooled stock, water-cooled custom, current production and special interest. Awards will be given for best paint, best interior, best engine, people’s choice and special interest.
Gates will open for the swap meet/show car set up at 8 a.m. Gates will open at 10 a.m. to the public. Judging will take place at noon, and awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m.
Additionally, Dubfest will include music and raffle prizes. Event T-shirts will be available. Swap vendor spots are available for $25. All swap meet vendors must be pre-registered by Aug. 22. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
