The Enbridge Foundation recently donated $700 to Wilson Emergency Management Agency Station No. 11 in Norene, which is currently under construction.

“Wilson County Emergency Management Agency would like to thank Enbridge for their kind donation,” said WEMA director Joey Cooper. “This donation will be utilized in protecting our first responders at the brand-new fire station 11 in the Norene community. It’s great to know that the businesses here in Wilson County, such as Enbridge, continuously show support for local government and the community.”

The donation led to the purchase of a MSA Altair 4X Gad Detector. The Altair 4X is a durable multi-gas detector that simultaneously measures up to four gases. The unit features motion alert, which lets others know if the user has become immobile and I instant alert, a manual alarm that alerts others of potentially dangerous situations.

“We can’t thank Enbridge enough for their continued support of our local emergency management agency,” said Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto. “Their generosity is a constant reminder of how blessed we are in this county, and we thank them for this donation.”
