Mays completed the 5K course in 19:50.05, good for 14th place among 114 runners in a season-best 19:50.05. Junior Taylor Blankenship was 28th in 20:27.80, while freshman Elaine Park and junior Claudia Tepox finished 42nd and 44th, respectively, with times of 21:01.13 and 21:04.77.
Sophomore Gavin DuVall crossed the finish line in 21:13.62 for 47th overall, freshman Hannah Spring was 50th in 21:31.51 and sophomore Michaela Postell came in 61st in 22:04.75.
Barlow paced the men once again with a 20th-place showing in 27:31.95 on the 8K course, while junior Chris Swann placed 35th in 27:56.19. Sophomore Jerry Rojas and freshman Nate Mihnovich finished 40th and 41st, respectively, with times of 28:13.71 and 28:16.05, and junior Carlos Tirado was 49th in 28:57.02.
Freshman Titus Williams placed 62nd in 29:398.34, junior Michael Rogers was 65th in 29:48.43 and freshman Nikita Fopiano came in 80th in 30:07.97. Sophomore Jordan Hill finished 92nd in 30:57.78 in his first race of the season, while freshman Timothy Vanjohnson, Jr., was 98th in 31:10.37 and freshman Carlos Angeles-Solis placed 103rd in 31:21.07.
Cumberland will run in two weeks at the St. Louis Fall Classic before the Mid-South Conference Championships take place Nov. 4 in Bowling Green, Ky.
