Square merchants to offer gift for gifts

By Caitlin Ring • Updated Sep 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM

The Lebanon Public Square merchants plan to do its part to support hurricane victims in Texas and Florida as 3:Sixteen and other square merchants have collections set up to allow local residents the chance to give.

Partner owners of the recently opened 3:Sixteen came up with the original idea. Amber Cowan and Mandy Winfree, wanted to do something to lend help to hurricane victims, so they decided on a friendly competition to encourage the community to contribute, as well.

There are donation baskets set up at 3:Sixteen and other contributing square merchants where residents are asked to donate a minimum of $10 to be eligible for the contest.

Donations may be made at 3:Sixteen at 108 E. Main St. or Posh, Dreams Boutique and other local merchants around the square.

The winner will be announced 3:Sixteen on Facebook on Sept. 29. The winner picked from the donations will then be awarded with a gift basket worth $350 filled with items from each participating store.

Donations will be sent Thursday evening. All of the money collected will be sent to hurricane victims in Texas and Florida through Convoy For Hope.

Anyone with questions may contact Winfree or Cowan at 615-547-9131.
