Country Living magazine is hosting a country fair at the James E. Ward Center this weekend. Activities kicked off Friday with vendors, a change to meet Country Living editor Rachel Hardage Barrett, music, food and speakers.

The Nashville Influencers, a group of interior decorators from Middle Tennessee, gathered at the event to meet other designers and share their knowledge.

I’m here with the Nashville influencers, and I’m here with Nancy McNulty who created a group called the Nashville Influencers,” said Angela DeYoung with the group. “We are attending the Country Living fair. This is an annual event since last year and now we’re looking to make contacts with local publishers and magazines because we do support them throughout the year.”

McNulty said the Nashville Influences are area lifestyles individuals.

“It can be home or garden,” she said. “We have media folks that are part of our group, as well as interior designers, architects and landscape architects. We love the Country Living Fair and we are so excited to be here. It is so beautiful out here. We’re all from Nashville, or Franklin or Brentwood. We have some folks that are from out here. You all know how to throw down a fair and we love it out here.”

Vendors from all over the area attended the event. Tammy Heisey from Pennsylvania was with her cousin selling antiques and more.

“This is the first time he actually did this show,” she said of her cousin. “He does the one in Atlanta. I like Tennessee. It looks a lot like Pennsylvania but the people are friendly here.”

The Country Living Fair is open from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center, located at 945 E. Baddour Parkway in Lebanon. Tickets can be purchased at the gate. For more information about the show, visit www.countryliving.com.
