MURFREESBORO – Ronald T. Wright and William R. “Roy” Thompson announced the merger of their general dental practices in Murfreesboro, effective Jan. 1.

At that time, they will begin practicing together at 122 Heritage Park Drive, the current location of Thompson’s dental practice. With a tradition of excellence, Wright and Thompson have practiced general dentistry in Murfreesboro for 42 and 38 years, respectively.

“I’m excited about the opportunities this joining of our practices presents for all of our patients.” said Wright. “We have similar practice philosophies. This should be a seamless transition.”

Thompson said, “Dr Wright and I have known each other for 38 years and practice very similarly. The mix of services we offer our patients compliments each other, and our focus on long-term relationships with our patients and the community are equally aligned.“

“This merger gives both Dr. Thompson and myself options for the future,” said Wright. “Dr. Thompson travels with the American Dental Association, so my presence in his practice will benefit him and his patients. Both of us will continue to practice full time. This arrangement benefits everyone – our patients, our teams and each of us.”
