The bowling squads take part in the team portion of the conference tournament on Saturday and Sunday at Southern Lanes in Bowling Green.
Bell collected 986 pins with a high of 258 in the final game, just 14 pins from qualifying for the stepladder finals in the singles event on Friday morning. The Lebanon native averaged 197.2 pins in the five-game series.
Senior Anh Nguyen was next for CU in 30th place with 874 pins with a high of 203 in the final game, while Parrott, a junior, posted 843 pins for 43rd with a high of 190 in the third game. Junior Chase Midgett placed 49th with 838 pins (high of 191 in game two) and senior John Isaac Davis was 66th with 787 (high of 170 in game four and five).
In doubles Bell and Parrott registered 1829 pins for ninth place with a high of 429 in the final game. Davis and Nguyen placed 24th with 1661 pins (high of 373 in game five) and Midgett and Davis were 29th with 1650 pins (high of 351 in game three).
Turner posted a high of 211 in game four and totaled 893 pins for eighth place, while Shirley was 37th with 791 pins and a high of 167 in game four. Junior Taylor Wagner finished 52nd with 746 pins and a high of 194 in game three.
Freshman Rickie Denson was 65th with 652 pins (high of 144 in game three) and junior Karlie Odum finished 68th with 610 pins (147 in game five).
In doubles Turner and Shirley recorded 1684 pins with a high of 378 in game four for 10th place. Wagner and Denson placed 30th with 1398 pins and a high of 338 in game three.
