MJCA sweep Ezell-Harding

ANTIOCH — Mt. Juliet Christian finished off a rain-suspended 3-2 win at Ezell-Harding before sweeping the Eagles with a darkness-shortened 6-2 victory Friday.

The opening game was resumed in the bottom of the first inning and ended with Evan Davis singling home Eli Wilson with the walk-off run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Dylan Boehm allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out 14 in six innings. Christian Link struck out the side in the seventh for the win.

Boehm also drove in a run on two singles while Link singled.

Link pitched the first two innings of the nightcap for the win, fanning four. Russell Prater threw the third, punching out two, before darkness ended the contest with the Saints returning home 6-3 for the season with four games remaining, starting with next-door neighbor West Wilson on Monday.

Prater doubled and singled while Link singled twice and Seth Belew once as each drove in a run. Boehm, Davis and Chrsitian Taylor singled.
