The Saints scored four times in the top of the first inning and eight in the second as they improved to 10-4. Mt. Juliet Christian collected 15 hits while McGavock committed eight errors.

Junior left-hander Cole Alsup picked up the win by scattering six hits and a walk while striking out five. He also contributed a pair of RBI singles.

Gavin Sellars drove in three runs on a triple and double while Austin Collier cracked a bases-loaded triple. Daniel Boehm knocked in two scores on two singles and a double while Cody Nalley notched a pair of RBI singles. Dawson Perry produced an RBI on three singles while Tyler Blais added a run-scoring double. Alex Pitman produced a single.

Mt. Juliet Christian will play host to Donelson Christian in East-Middle District 1-A action at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
