The Lebanon Public Library plans to hold special events throughout the two weeks of fall break for the local children of Wilson County.

Events kicked off fall break with a petting zoo Tuesday morning. The library also had a movie night Tuesday evening, which included the screening of Hocus Pocus and drinks and popcorn for $2 each.

Lebanon Cross Fit for Kids visited the library Wednesday morning for the first time to give children training lessons and teach them exercises. They also did lessons on nutrition and foods good and not so good for growing bodies.

On Tuesday at 10 a.m., Lebanon firefighters will bring a fire truck to the library in honor of National Fire Prevention Week.

On Halloween night, the library invites everyone to show up in costume and attend the ghost stories planned each hour from 4-7 p.m.

The Lebanon Public Library also has story times each Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m., and all are welcome to join.
