‘Major’ dairy show win

Carter Major, 10, of Lebanon, exhibits his Holstein Dairy Cow at the 2017 North American International Livestock Exposition, where he won his class of milking senior yearlings. Carter and his family own and operate Major Dairy Farm.

The NAILE runs through Nov. 16 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Owned and produced by Kentucky Venues, the North American International Livestock Exposition is the world’s largest purebred livestock show. Held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, the event generates $8 million in economic impact annually.
